Within my work and projects recently I have began to learn to rig and animate my own characters in Maya. I have always been hesitant to get into rigging and animating my own characters cause of how hard and daunting it seemed to be. However after taking a rigging based animation class I have become somewhat confident in my ability to rig and animate a character. My first few animations with my rig were a throwing animation, a walking animation, and a jumping animation. Included below is my attempt at a jumping animation.
