Tarantulas
Fun Facts about meOne of more interesting and obscure hobbies is taking care of and raising tarantulas. I’ve had a few different spiders over the years. My first spider was a pink toe tarantula. These are considered very common and docile spiders that are great to keep as pets. This is probably the spider that I spent the most time handling as it was very calm and safe to hold. My second spider was a Goliath Bird eater. The name describes it very well as these spiders can grow to be a staggering 9 inches and are one of the largest species of common tarantulas. I held this spider a couple of times but the bird eaters run with severe anxiety and tend to react strongly to fast movements. My third and final spider was an old-world Orange-Baboon-Tarantula. This one was probably my favorite of the three due to its bright orange color. However I have never handled this one as it is a very aggressive spider. Down Below is a Picture of my Orange-Baboon.
